Course Fee Subsidies
MOE provides generous subsidies for Singapore Citizens (SCs) and Singapore Permanent Residents (SPRs) to help working Singaporeans to upskill or re-skill through part-time learning at the polytechnics. This includes part-time Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Specialist Diploma and Diploma (Conversion) programmes.
SPRs will only be eligible for subsidy for first part-time diploma and first post diploma (i.e. first Advanced Diploma, first Specialist Diploma and first Diploma (Conversion) respectively). This is subject to SPRs not having previously attained a qualification at the diploma or higher level that was subsidised through a MOE subsidy or Government sponsorship.

Make the Most of Your SkillsFuture Credit
Introduced in 2015, all Singaporeans aged 25 and above received an opening credit of $500 with no expiry. Additionally, in 2020, a one-time top-up of $500 was provided to individuals aged 25 and above. This top-up will expire at the end of 2025.
You can use your SkillsFuture Credit to deepen existing skills or reskill into new areas beyond your current field. Explore the wide range of SkillsFuture Credit-eligible courses offered by NYP.
Additional Benefits for Mid-Career Professionals
NEW (from 1 May 2024): Singaporeans aged 40 and above will receive a SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) top-up of $4,000. This credit has no expiry and is designed to support a substantive skills reboot under the SkillsFuture Level-Up Programme.
ENHANCED: In 2020, individuals aged 40–60 received a one-time $500 top-up. The expiry date for this top-up will be removed, and any remaining balance will be merged with the new $4,000 top-up.
