Minimum Grade Requirements for NYP PFP

At NYP, our PFP curriculum offers two distinctive tracks to get you ready for your chosen course.

  • Group 1: Design & Media, Engineering, Humanities, IT or Science
  • Group 2: Business Management or Social Work

To fulfill the entry requirements for either tracks, you must meet the raw ELMAB3 aggregate of 12 points or lower, before CCA deductions. This includes EnglishMathematics and your Best 3 subjects at your N-Levels.

Subjects taken at O-Levels can be combined with your N-Level results to compute your PFP eligibility.

To be eligible for the course of your choice, you must also meet the minimum ELMAB3 requirements of that specific course. Some courses also have medical requirements that you must meet.

Students placed on the PFP may or may not be eventually posted to the course programme of his/her choice, as admission to a course is based on merit and subject to the availability of vacancies.

Tip: Use our course finder to check the past year's ELMAB3 score range, and gauge the competitiveness of admission.
