Students studying information technology (IT) will be recognised for their outstanding performance by the school and prestigious companies such as SAS and FPT Software.

FPT Asia Pacific is partnering NYP to offer four NYP-FPT scholarships to exceptional students from the School of Information Technology (SIT) who have demonstrated academic excellence in AY2025. All SIT students will be eligible to apply for this mid-term scholarship.

 

Final-year scholars will also benefit from exclusive internship opportunities at FPT, gaining invaluable experience in cutting-edge software development and digital transformation across a broad spectrum of industries, from automotive and finance to healthcare and telecommunications.

Exclusive honours for high-achieving students

SIT's strong industry partnerships provide a diverse range of scholarships for high-achieving Year 2 students across various IT disciplines. Beyond financial support from NYP and industry partners, these scholarships unlock invaluable opportunities for academic enrichment, mentorship, and career advancement. Such opportunities give students a competitive edge in building their portfolios, attaining their goals, and gaining confidence.

 

SIT students have also received these mid-term scholarships*:

  • NYP-SAS Scholarship: Offered in partnership with SAS, a leader in business analytics software and services and the largest independent vendor in the business intelligence market.
  • NYP-Nanyang Tech Scholarship: Offered in partnership with Nanyang Tech, a key player in Singapore’s industrial automation and technology consulting sectors. Its founder, Oh Kwang Leong, is also an alumnus (Class of 2003).
  • NYP-Wissen & EC-Council Scholarship: Offered in partnership with cybersecurity competency development company Wissen International and cybersecurity technical training and certification body EC-Council.

EC-Council is also providing its globally-recognised certifications under NYP SIT’s competency-based learning. Students can save their time acquiring skills mastery on EC Council's Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) Certifications, which are infused into SIT’s diploma curiculums.

Lucian Miles Ho (Year 3 Student, Dip. in Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics), received the NYP-Wissen & EC-Council Scholarship in June 2024 for his second and final-year studies.
