Modes of Payment

How much and when to pay?

Actual fees are due after the semester starts, payable by the due date stated on an e-Bill. Students can view their e-Bills via myNYP portal. 

How to pay?
  • Payment by Interbank GIRO only
  • Application for any Financing Scheme(s) namely Mendaki Tertiary Fee Subsidy, CPF Education Loan Scheme and Tuition Fee Loan Scheme cover only Tuition Fees and DOES NOT cover the Supplementary Fees. The Supplementary Fees have to be paid via GIRO.
  • For PSEA (covers Tuition Fee and Supplementary Fees) applicants, fees will be paid via GIRO if there is insufficient fund in the PSEA.

How to apply for GIRO?
  1. Complete the Interbank GIRO Form
  2. Print out and sign/thumbprint on the form.
    • For bank account operated by signature: Account holder/Joint Account holder(s) is/are to sign as per the bank’s records.
    • For bank account operated by thumbprint:
      • Account holder is to visit the Bank and get the thumbprint verified.
      • Please note that:
        1. Amendments, if any, are to be counter-signed by the account holder.
        2. No correction fluid/tape is allowed.
  3. Submit the GIRO form to Nanyang Polytechnic 
    • Submit the completed, verified thumbprint or signed hardcopy GIRO form to:
      i@Central (Information and Service Centre)
      Blk A, Level 1 (facing the NYP Auditorium) 
    • Or by POST to:
      Nanyang Polytechnic
      180 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8
      Singapore 569830
      (Attention: Finance Department)

How to check the GIRO application status?

You may check the GIRO application status online via myNYP Portal.

 

The same Interbank GIRO account will be used for fees deduction and any other disbursements.

When and how the GIRO deduction date and amount will be informed?

You will be informed of the GIRO deduction date and total amount payable via the online e-Bill. When the online e-Bill is available for viewing via myNYP Portal, you will be notified by email sent to your NYP Student email address and/or SMS.


The notification will be sent to you at least 10 days before the deduction date.
Other payment methods

If your GIRO application is not approved yet, you may consider these following payment methods:

  1. Internet Banking (UOB)
    • Applicable for UOB account holder with internet banking facility.
    • Login to UOB Internet Banking.
    • Quote your Admission Number and Bill Number or NRIC Number as payment reference.
  2. SGQR PayNow
  3. eNETS Debit
    • Applicable for DBS Bank/POSB, UOB, OCBC or Standard Chartered Singapore account holder with internet banking facility.
    • Login to myNYP portal.
  4. AXS Station/Internet/Mobile App
    • AXS Station
      • Select Education at AXS Station.
      • Select NYP -> Full-Time Diploma/Polytechnic Foundation Programme for full-time diploma or Poly Foundation Programme students.
    • AXS Internet
      • Login to AXS Internet.
      • Select "Pay online now".
      • Select eServices -> Education.
      • Select NYP -> Full-Time Diploma/Polytechnic Foundation Programme for full-time diploma or Poly Foundation Programme students.
    • AXS Mobile App
      • Download AXS Payment App.
      • Select eServices -> Education.
      • Select NYP -> Full-Time Diploma/Polytechnic Foundation Programme for full-time diploma or Poly Foundation Programme students.
  5. NETS at i@Central
