Nursing preceptors and clinical instructors play an important role in nurturing future nurses, and I have had the opportunity to experience it first-hand at Changi General Hospital.

During my PRCP, my preceptor guided me with patience and kindness to help facilitate my role as a Registered Nurse while my clinical instructor shaped me into a more empathetic, critically thinking nurse and to become a more confident individual. Learning through every mistakes I made, resolving misunderstandings, and conquering episodes of uncertainty, they have shaped my nursing journey and guided me to be what I am today. Learn to abide by their words of advice because at the end of the day, our preceptors and clinical instructors want nothing but the best for us.
