Partnering Enterprise Singapore in their “Tech Talent Strategy”
Our students had the privilege of participating in Enterprise Singapore’s (ESG) inaugural internship programme. For 24 weeks, they were attached to different start-up initiatives in ESG’s Innovation & Enterprise team.
This was also the first time that poly students were offered this opportunity! 9 final-year NYP students from the Diploma in Business Management, Sport & Wellness Management and Hospitality & Tourism Management took part in this internship. They had the chance to work on projects and key initiatives to enable the start-up ecosystem.
One of the initiatives was the “Tech Talent Strategy”, which focused on talent needs and addressing skill gaps. Students got to hone their critical thinking skills, on top of deepening their understanding of the start-up ecosystem and mechanics. This internship even inspired a few of them to co-find a start-up – nanobee – an end-to-end digital talent matching solution that matches nano-influencers to businesses.
