My internship at Nusantara Beta Studio (NBS) in Jakarta, Indonesia, was a perfect blend of technical growth and cultural immersion. At NBS, I gained extensive experience in both frontend and backend development, working across the entire software development lifecycle. From initial planning and design through to coding, testing, and deployment, I gained comprehensive experience in building robust, scalable systems providing me with a solid foundation for building end-to-end solutions.
The guidance I received from my mentors at NBS played a crucial role in shaping my internship experience. Their consistent support and constructive feedback not only helped me navigate challenges but also pushed me to strive for excellence in every task. One of the key pieces of advice they shared was to “Never Stop Learning”, a principle that resonated deeply with me throughout the program. This mindset encouraged me to continually seek new knowledge, adapt to evolving technologies, and improve my skills. Their mentorship was instrumental in my growth, both technically and professionally, and was a key factor in my success during the internship.

Working in a cross-cultural team taught me the importance of effective communication and collaboration. The diverse perspectives within the team helped us come up with innovative solutions to complex problems, and I quickly realized how cultural diversity can drive creativity and success.
Overall, my time at NBS was an incredibly valuable learning experience. It equipped me with not only the technical skills but also the professional insight I need to succeed in the global software industry.
