Digital Storytelling with SportSG
As part of the collaboration between School of Business Management (SBM) and the Singapore Sport Institute, students from the Diploma of Mass Media and Management (DMMM) conducted a series of workshops on Digital Storytelling for more than 20 national athletes.
Athletes from track and field, synchronised swimming, silat, shooting, beach volleyball and rowing attended a half-day workshop on the intricacies of story crafting and were mentored by six DMMM students as they worked on their own showreels to document their lives as athletes. The project allowed students to interact with world champions such as Silat exponents Nurul Suhaila Mohd Saiful, Sheik Ferdous Sheik Alau'ddin and Iqbal Abdul Rahman as well as SEA Games Silat gold medallist Nurzuhairah Yazid and marathoner Jasmine Goh.
