Nadya and Al Hafiz
A Journey of Love and Nostalgia at NYP.
What inspired Nadya and Al Hafiz to choose NYP as a venue for their pre-wedding photoshoot?
The answer lies in their story: they first met when they were pursuing the Aerospace Systems and Management course at NYP in 2015. NYP was where their love story began. “It was love at first sight,” Nadya and Al Hafiz shared, reflecting on the emotional significance of the campus and the memories they had created together.
How did the NYP journey shape their relationship?
Frequent interactions during lectures, general studies modules, and an internship at Changi Airport Group seeded the development of a strong bond. Although they officially started dating only after graduation, NYP played an important role in bringing them closer. “Our love took flight during our internship,” he added with a smile.

What message do they have for fellow alumni?
The couple encourages alumni to reconnect with their NYP friends, visit the campus and relive their own cherished memories. They expressed heartfelt gratitude to their lecturers Mr Gan An Zhi and Mr Yap Meng Chuang, and the SDAR staff for helping to coordinate the photoshoot.
Every learner has his own unique memories at NYP - good times with friends or lecturers and maybe even the joy of meeting someone special. Revisiting those moments is truly magical.
