About this course
Course objectives

This course aims to equip personnel working in retail or non-retail food establishments with the knowledge and practical skills in conducting food safety and hygiene checks.
Learners will also gain knowledge on food safety hygiene policies and procedures to ensure effective implementation of Pre-Requisite Programmes (PRPs) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles.
Course description
Upon completion of this course, learners will develop the abilities to:
Understand food safety practices and regulatory requirements.Types of pre-requisite programmes implementation for food estlabishments.Methods used to conduct food safety and hygiene inspections.Identify food safety and hygiene lapses and implement corrective actions.Understand Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and how to apply them in the Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
