Course objectives
This course is designed to equip anyone – including beginners, home-based businesses and hobbyists – with the knowledge and skills to start an eCommerce business that embraces sustainability, in turn making a positive impact on the planet, and supporting the Singapore Green Plan national movement.Participants will learn how to create sustainable products in this highly hands-on workshop through recycling or upcycling methods, followed by acquiring the essentials of setting up your own online business to market your creations! Sustainability is critical to the well-being of our planet, and being able to apply it is a highly in-demand skillset whether you are currently employed, looking for ideas to start your e-commerce venture or using your passion to support the Green movement.
Course description
At the end of this course, participants will:1) Gain insights to sustainability e-commerce opportunities through understanding impacts and market demands2) Understand the essentials of setting up an e-commerce business through familiarisation of the key e-commerce, e-marketplaces and social commerce platforms3) Create a sustainable product by recycling or upcycling materials using techniques provided.
