About this course
Course objectives
This Work-Study Programme (WSP) is designed for fresh ITE graduates who graduated within 3 years from an IT/technology-related discipline.Male participants who need to serve National Service (NS), the 3-year period will start from their Operationally-Ready Date (ORD).ITE graduates who do not meet the 3-year requirement will still be considered but they will not be eligible for the sign-on incentives.NITEC (min. GPA 2.0) or Higher NITEC (no GPA requirement)Candidates without the minimum academic qualifications may be admitted based on merit, on a case-by-case basis and may be required to attend an interview.
Learners will be equipped with a strong foundation in networking and system administration, and learn the necessary skills and techniques for deploying, operating and supporting next-generation IT infrastructure services and computing resources.
Gain essential knowledge and skills in computer operating systems, IT network infrastructure and security threat mitigation across diverse industries.Learn how to set up and administer secured enterprise IT network infrastructure and computer server systemsGet a deeper understanding of advanced IT system and infrastructure services.
Course description
Learners will receive the following three (3) Modular Certificates upon successful completion of the Work-Study Programme (WSP):
Modular Certificate in System & Network Essential (180 hours)Modular Certificate in System & Network Administration (180 hours)Modular Certificate in System Network Operation & Support (180 hours)
You will have the option to complete another two (2) Modular Certificates to obtain the
Diploma in Infocomm and Digital Media (IT Network & System Administration):
Modular Certificate in Secure Network Management (180 hours)Modular Certificate in Cloud Computing Infra & Virtualisation (180 hours)
