About this course

Course objectives

The proposed course’s focus is aligned to the three pillars of Technology focus, namely Automation, Connectivity and Intelligence under the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) which provides the framework and tools to manufacturers to start, scale and sustain their digital transformation journeys.

The competencies to be acquired by the graduates of the course are also aligned to the emerging skills identified by the SkillsFuture Framework for Electronics Sector: Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Data Analytics and Robotics and Automation. These skillsets are also backed by the ITMs for electronics sector and adjacent sectors namely aerospace and precision engineering

Course description

The Diploma in Engineering (Electronic & Digital Engineering) is aligned to MOE-CET’s Framework, which aims to maintain academic rigor and meeting the needs of adult learners and industry.

The total training duration for part-time diplomas will be 900 hours.

The adult learners earn the diploma when one accumulates 5 modular certificates (as listed below). This can be achieved in 2.5 years.
