1. To attract and retain talent in Trade Associations and Chambers of Commerce (TAC) through the introduction of Trade Association (TA) aspects work and environmental landscape.2. To upskill executives from TAC in the competencies of Strategy & Governance, Membership, Industry Development, Capability Building, Internationalisation, Research, Branding, Marketing & Communications.
Course description
This three (3) day programme comprises of interactive classroom sessions and workshops themed along the three (3) Trade Association and Chambers of Commerce (TAC) strategic thrusts of Collaboration, Innovation & Advocacy. The learning experience includes a site tour to Trade Association Hub and graced by trade association industry speakers. This course aligns with the Digital and Care economic pillars. Under the Digital Economic pillar, participants in this course will learn about e-commerce and digital marketing spanning from social media marketing, web and email marketing along with the application of these technologies and it's management. Research data collection methods and communication of findings will be taught under the emerging domain of Data and Analytics. Under the Care economic pillar, participants will learn about partnership management as part of the emerging domain of Collaborating with Stakeholders and Teaching & Learning competencies from identifying & authoring learning outcomes, to programme facilitation and experience curation.
