Can I apply?

You may apply for your desired full-time diploma course if you have relevant work experience and meet the minimum entry requirements (MER) of the following application type:

Part-time ITE Certificate1
  • Minimum GPA for Higher NITEC holders  > 2.0  or  NITEC holders > 3.5
  • Minimum one year of relevant working experience2
WSQ Diploma1 (or higher)
  • Level 6 WSQ Workplace Literacy SOA and Workplace Numeracy SOA
  • Minimum one year of relevant working experience2
Working Adult
  • Be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) 
  • Minimum two years of relevant work experience2

Please refer to this guide for the list of relevant NYP full-time courses that you may apply with your part-time ITE Higher Nitec/Nitec Certificate or WSQ Diploma.

In addition to your academic results, interviews and other holistic assessments will be conducted to better ascertain the competencies acquired from your relevant work experiences / job roles.

How do I apply?

STEP 1

Apply online

Application period: 11 Jan to 16 Jan 2024

 

Submit your application online during the stated application period. 
 

Upload the following via our Document Submission System within 3 working days from the application submission date as instructed in the Online Application System:

  • identification document (front & back if applicable) or passport 
  • result slip or academic transcript
  • resume, letter of employment and/or testimonials
  • digital portfolio (if applying for courses offered by School of Design & Media)
  • Company Sponsorship Form (PDF, 0.05MB) (if applicable)

Please ensure your name / identification number is clearly shown in all the documents submitted.


If you encounter any problems, please email contactNYP@nyp.edu.sg with

  • screenshot(s) of the error message or issue you have encountered, 
  • your name, and 
  • last 4 characters of the ID you used during your application.
STEP 2

Application outcome

You will receive enrolment notifications via sms and email by end March/April if you have been successfully posted to NYP. You will need to log in to the NYP e-enrolment system to accept the course offer and complete the enrolment process. Check out the academic calendar on course commencement date
