Course description
Videos are essential to the digital marketing effort and engagement of the social and digital media community. Participants will learn the essentials of producing short-form digital videos for social media and YouTube. Areas to cover include pre-production planning, basic camera work, and basic video editing using editing software.

Goh Chuan Hock - Lecturer
Chuan Hock currently lectures in the area of video production and as a TEP (Teaching Enterprise Project) supervisor, he has led many student teams to produce videos for industry clients such as Fox Networks, HBO, MediaCorp, NDP, SPD and Turner Networks. Chuan Hock has over ten years of commercial photography and video production experience and has worked with many top advertising agencies and brands.
Olivia Yow – Senior Lecturer
Olivia is a Senior Lecturer with the Diploma in Mass Media Management. Previously an On-Air Promo Producer with more than 13 years in the industry, she has worked on channels like Star World, Star Movies and launched Fox Family Movies, during her stint in Fox International Channels, Hong Kong. Before that, she was with StarHub creating promo campaigns for StarHub’s channels, SuperSports, and DemandTV, garnering a few Promax/BDA & other awards in her time there. She holds a Masters of Arts in Media Production, and is currently sharing her knowledge and industry experience with the media students, guiding them in the production of content for Fox Networks Group, HBO, Turner Networks Asia and MediaCorp.
