Unleashing Creativity: School of Design & Media Graduates Shine on the Global Stage

From internships at leading companies to winning international awards, these four graduates exemplify the talent and dedication of the Class of 2024.

The stories of Yeoh Hao Wen, Timothy Luk Wan Teng, Kang Kiat Wai, and Li Xueyi Joanne are just a small snapshot of the incredible achievements and experiences of the 543 students graduating from the School of Design & Media on May 6, 2024.

 

Yeoh Hao Wen (Diploma in Digital Game Art & Design) participated in the Ubisoft Global Develop @ Ubisoft Programmes, working closely with an industry mentor and broadening her perspective on a career in the gaming industry.

 

Timothy Luk Wan Teng (Diploma in Game Development & Technology) interned in Japan with Creek and River, gaining invaluable industry experience and earning acceptance into NUS to pursue a degree in Computer Science.

 

Kang Kiat Wai (Diploma in Experiential Product & Interior Design) was awarded the Lee Hsien Loong Distinguished Award and participated in an exchange programme at Osaka University of Health Sciences, focusing on sustainability.

 

Li Xueyi Joanne (Diploma in Visual Communication) won the Gold Medal at the WorldSkills ASEAN for Graphic Design Technology, showcasing her exceptional talent and creativity.

 

These stories highlight the dedication and resilience of our students, who have excelled academically and seized opportunities to gain practical experiences.
