Course objectives
The food and beverage industry plays an important role in contributing to the tourism industry. Given that this industry is wide with a diverse market, it requires all practitioners to have good product knowledge and versatility in producing varying types of cuisines to meet diners' needs. Course description
The Eurasian race came about from inter-marriages between Europeans and Asians. This resulted in a merger of two cultures and created a distinctive cuisine style of blending exotic dishes from Asia and Europe. Food is a distinctive aspect of the Eurasian culture so come and learn 3 traditional Eurasian dishes - Devil's Curry, Shepherd's Pie and Tapioca Kuih.欧亚裔是由欧洲人和亚洲人的异族通婚造成的。这导致了两种文化的融合,创造了融合亚洲和欧洲异国情调的独特菜式。美食是欧亚文化的特色,所以来学习三道传统欧亚料理:魔鬼咖喱、牧羊人馅饼和木薯糕。During this course, learners will be steered by experienced culinary trainers who will impart the principles of Eurasian cooking techniques such as selecting and proportioning raw ingredients, seasoning and flavouring of the dishes. They will also be trained on how to prepare ingredients, herbs and spices apart from deriving the appropriate consistency of sauces alongside being able to control temperature of cooking and determine doneness.本课程将由经验丰富的烹饪导师指导学员,传授欧亚人烹饪技术的原理,如原料的选择与配比,调味料和菜肴的调味料等。他们也将接受培训,学习如何配制食材 和香料,同时确保酱汁的浓度适当,并能控制烹煮的温度和决定酱汁的多寡。At the end of this course, learners will attain knowledge and competencies related to preparation of Eurasian meals.课程结束后,学员将掌握与准备欧亚人餐食有关的知识和能力。
