Course objectives
SFDW 2.0 is an enhanced course training programme that aims to equip Singaporean adults from all walks of life with the relevant mindset and digital literacy skills for work needed in the current and future economy.Transportation management is a domain identified by SSG under the skills future framework with topics under SSG's list of Technical and Skills Competencies (TSCs).
Course description
This course prepare learners to be aware of the development of digital technology and its disruption to the transportation industry where prevailing digital trends are are examined.
It will focus on the following areas:
(a) Digital trends impacting on transportation management,
(b) Transportation execution with reference to in-demand digital tools
(c) Transportation issues & challenges with reference to digital efficiency & cyber security
(d) Technology application in transportation with reference to analytics and automation. The learners will also be exposed to emerging trends of lifelong learning and be able to navigate their learning journey and career pathways in the area of transportation.
